At the launching of the Case Management Information System (CMIS) at the Supreme Court in Manila on July 23, U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney expressed her enthusiasm about the improvements made in the Philippine judicial system, particularly through the creation of the U.S. grant funded CMIS. CMIS stated the Ambassador, leads to " cases that are tracked better, processed more quickly, court dockets reduced, case delays reduced (and) people who get access to decisions of the judiciary faster."
