Award-winning Philippine Chef Celebrates with California Cheese
The California Milk Advisory Board collaborated with award-winning chef Ariel Manuel in preparing a three-course California Cheese menu with wines from California for select members of the press to celebrate Thanksgiving with someone special from November 26-29 at Lolo Dad’s Brasserie in Makati City. The especially crafted menu included: fresh mushroom and spinach pizza with California Pepperjack, Baked California Colby Jack Cheese pancetta and rigatoni vegetable pasta, California Sharp Cheddar and romaine lettuce soup with smoked salmon bruschetta. California specialty cheeses are now available at S&R Membership Shopping where consumers can sample the new cheeses. The campaign is an on-going effort to introduce California cheese to the market and is funded by USDA’s Emerging Market’s Program.
